Falcorin tapped the man next to him, then pointed across the narrow valley toward the glowing building on the coast. "There's an enslaved beholder up there, ya see? And his eye beams are reflected and shine across the bay."

The young warrior beside him looked amazed. "Really? Wow!"

"No, you idiot! It's just Marvo the Illusionist – an old friend and his light spells." Falcorin slung his longbow and started down the hill, shaking his head. "Geez... first level adventurers – so gullible."
