The crackling of fires overshadows the sounds of jungle life. "Someone must have lit these?" asks one of your party.

"No - they are magically summoned flames. They never go out, and were never lit." answers an old hunched woman as she appears from the jungle tree-line. "You must be very careful if you desire to move beyond the entrance. A foul demon has made its rest there. You have been warned!" Then she limps back into the jungle without leaving gap for reply.
