"The River-folk dwell below', said the steward while rolling his eyes. "If they cannot do well in this town, then that is where they will stay!"

It is clear that there is a class issue in this Town, and the rich prey on the poor. As he paces in the other direction, your companion turns to you and whispers, "This visit was supposed to be simple. We collect our reward, and leave. I haven't got time for this," and in an instant, he clicks his finger, summoning a spectral dagger as if from thin air. The steward stops in his tracks, then falls slowly, limp, to the ground. "That'll do it!" With that, he loots the reward from his corpse and dashes to the door.
